intelligent breed? you tell me...

I know I said previously that Bostons are very intelligent dogs, but sometimes Elphie contradicts me. Why does she spend so much time chewing on her own leg?

Playing Pool

I found this picture on facebook, it's a friends dog posed to look like he's setting up the best shot ever. I told you Boston's were smart!

Snoring!

Because of Bostons cute little squishy faces, they SNORE. I read an article online about strange, weird and virtually unknown things about the human body. Typical snoring can be about 60 decibels, the same as human speech. Bad snoring can get up to 80 decibels (ask Toni's husband) and can actually be damaging to the listener's ear! I sometimes wonder if Elphie is getting up to those 80 decibels...

E-mailed photos

Here's some pictures e-mailed to me by my friend, Emily. This is Piper, who happens to be Elphie's sister! Piper is one cute redhead.

This is Chester Copperpot, and anyone who knows where that name comes from, Kudos to you! He loves to lay down with his legs all stretched out in front of and behind him.

What adorable puppies they were!

Thanks for the photos Emily, your dogs are gorgeous.

Welcome dog lovers!

This blog was simply created because I love Boston Terriers. They are intelligent, playful, bred specifically for companionship, beautiful, good with families, loving and well behaved. The picture on the top of the page is my baby girl, Elphie. She is the reason I fell in love with this breed.

Bostons are known for their distinctive markings, black and white. They also come in brindle (red) and white, and Elphie's sister Piper is an adorable red head. Brindle is more rare but just as beautiful.

Aren't they sweet as puppies?! You could stare into their lovable eyes forever!

As a puppy, Elphie is extremely mischevious. She loves to jump and play, and jumping into the bathtub to chew on the kids toys is one of her favorite things. Elphie is just one year old and AKC certified, and we will begin breeding her next summer when she turns two.
